Tennessee Medicare Supplement plans are also referred to as Tennessee Medigap policies. These plans help beneficiaries pay for services that traditional Medicare benefits do not cover. Part A & Part B benefits do not always cover all of a recipient's medical expenses during retirement. There can be costs that you would share in unless you purchase supplemental insurance coverage to take care of them.
The insurance industry created Medigap Plans to help recipients pay for things like deductibles and coinsurances. Tennessee offers the same standard 10 Medigap policies that can be found in most other states, and Madison Insurance Group has direct access with some very well-known carriers, such as United HealthCare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Humana, Cigna and others!
